Controller and contact
The controller for data processing on businessmatch.ch is Menekse Media, Solibodenstrasse 18, 8180 Bülach, Switzerland.
Contact: info@businessmatch.ch
Principle
businessmatch.ch processes personal data as far as necessary for operation, security, accounts, listings, contact requests, messages, search alerts, invoices and support.
Processed data
Depending on use, the following data may be processed:
- Account, profile, contact and billing data.
- Listing data, texts, key information, status, duration and visibility.
- Contact requests, messages and email addresses required for communication.
- Search alert settings, filters and language preferences.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser, device, access times and security information.
Public and private listing data
Only information intended for a listing is shown publicly. Name, company, email, phone or website can be hidden field by field.
AI translation of listings
For the automatic translation of published listings, the request is sent to an OpenAI model through Vercel AI Gateway. Apart from the necessary language information, only the title, short description and description are transmitted. Separate account, contact, billing, price, location or internal listing data is not transmitted. If these three fields contain personal data, that data forms part of the transmitted text.
The language-specific URL is created locally on businessmatch.ch from the translated title and is not sent for translation. Storage of the model response and retention of content by AI Gateway are disabled. The Gateway is instructed to process the request only through providers that support processing without retaining the content.
Vercel and OpenAI may use affiliates and subprocessors for technical processing. Cross-border processing takes place under applicable data protection requirements and contractual safeguards. Listing texts should not contain unnecessary or sensitive personal data.
Service providers
Technical providers may be used for hosting, database, email delivery, security and maintenance. Transfers to other countries take place only under applicable data protection rules.
Retention and rights
Data is retained as long as necessary for the described purposes, legal obligations or evidence of rights. Data subjects may request access, correction, deletion or objection within the scope of applicable law.
